The trail is fairly steep, but one can reach the summit in around 20 minutes depending on the speed of your hike. Along the climb, there are several false summits, where it appears you are approaching the peak only to find that such is not the case. Hikers who use the trail are technically trespassing on private property.〔(Ascent of Candy Mountain on 2012-03-25 ) Accessed 2015-08-31〕〔(Candy Mountain Trail Proposed ) Assessed 2015-08-31〕
